Nearly 7000 attendees, from across the creative spectrum, are gathered in Los Angeles to learn, be inspired and network. In addition, video content is coming soon to Adobe Stock, the company’s royalty-free collection of high-quality photos, illustrations and graphics. ![]() Adobe is also highlighting its patented CreativeSync technology, which powers connections between desktop and mobile apps and the assets creatives use every day. Adding to Creative Cloud momentum, the company today shipped two new mobile apps, Photoshop Fix and Capture CC, enabling quick retouching and asset capture on the go and announced new Touch capabilities across Creative Cloud desktop applications including Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC and Premiere Pro CC. With millions of members around the world, Creative Cloud brings together essential desktop and mobile apps a growing marketplace for content, assets and talent and a vibrant community where creatives can showcase their work and find inspiration. 5, 2015 - At Adobe MAX 2015, the world’s leading creativity conference, Adobe (Nasdaq:ADBE) today outlines its vision for Creative Cloud - a “connected creative canvas” where people create and share their work from anywhere. Press release: Adobe Drives Creative Innovation Forward at MAX 2015Ĭreative Cloud Announcements Include New Mobile Apps, Touch in Desktop Tools, Video Assets Coming to Adobe Stock The new and updated apps are available in the App Store and Google Play today. Subscribers to any Creative Cloud plan, including Creative Cloud Photography, will also get a new application - Adobe Portfolio, a portfolio website creation service built on Behance. Lightroom Mobile also gets a modest update, introducing photo capture and dehaze. Other updates have arrived for Adobe's desktop apps, including better support for Windows 10 touch devices, local dehaze adjustments in Lightroom and Camera Raw and a customized toolbar for photos in Photoshop.Īdobe Capture CC is also introduced for mobile, bringing Brush CC, Color CC, Hue CC and Shape CC all under one roof. Available today for iPad and iPhone, Photoshop Fix brings tools like the healing brush and liquify to mobile devices along with adjustments like paint and defocus. Colors and Shapes offer the most flexibility, and can be used with After Effects CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, Photoshop CC, or Premiere Pro CC on the desktop, as well as Comp CC, Illustrator Draw, and Photoshop Sketch on mobile devices.Adobe has officially launched Photoshop Fix, a mobile app it demoed at Apple's iPad Pro launch in early September. While similar in concept, assets created with Capture CC aren’t available in every Creative Cloud application. Whether it’s a color theme, shape, brush, or look, Adobe Capture CC can make changes to design assets on the fly. Both offer control over the final results, although Shapes lacks the more comprehensive editing features of the latter. Brushes does the same for graphics, instead creating ribbon, scatter, or vector-style brushes used for sketching or painting. Shapes use the device camera to capture sketches, artwork, or entire photographs, turning them into vector graphics like those created natively with Illustrator CC. By default, Capture CC saves the source image to the device, but this can be turned off under iOS Settings, rather than inside the app itself. Once captured, themes and filters can be refined prior before saving, or tweaked at any time using the Edit button. One addition I’d love to see is a 3D Touch shortcut for diving directly into any one of the four modes from the home screen.Ĭolors and Looks operate in much the same way, using on-screen dots and bubbles to extract color information from the camera sensor. The four modes-Colors, Shapes, Brushes, and Looks-are displayed as tabs across the top of the screen for hopping between them with just a tap, while a menu above can be used to switch between different libraries for organizing assets. Capturing a color theme is as easy as point and shoot from any iOS device.
